Baby spinach has a neutral flavour and can be added to most smoothies to provide extra nutrients, like vitamins A, K and C, folic acid and iron. Cocoa is also high in polyphenols (plant-based antioxidants).
Cocoa, Spinach and Avo Smoothie
Ingredients
- 1 handful baby spinach
- 1 heaped tsp cocoa powder
- ½ avocado
- 2 dates
- 1 banana
- Add about ½ cup water and ice, as needed
Preparation
- Blend all together in a NutriBullet or blender.
